About Care at Home
24-hour Personal Care
Many people of different ages with varied abilities are cared for and we have a ready team of suitable carers to select from to help you. Care and support in the community comes in many shapes and forms. You can be sure that we have the experience of helping people with most forms of disability and will always endeavour to match our most suitable carers to your assessed needs.
You will receive a visit from one of our senior team who can discuss with you, or your advocate, where and when you need support. They will advise you of available funds to help pay towards any care needed.
You can choose any length of time from a half-hour visit every fortnight for a spot of cleaning through to 24 hour Personal Care or someone living in as a Housekeeper for a week while you recuperate.

Friendly trained staff
Beamsmoor Care at Home (BCAH) have added further administration support to ensure that there is always a friendly helpful voice to answer a call for information.
The very nature of our 24hr service delivery dictates that we provide emergency contact at all times outside normal office hours for our staff delivering planned care to our clients.
The training of our carers is generally split between our-in-house qualified nurse and management team and the specialist consultancy services brought in on a regular basis. Apart from the required induction training which everyone receives, you will be reassured to know that we provide a series of C.P.D. (continued professional development) courses which are constantly monitored to ensure that our carers are aware of the latest methods in relevant Care delivery.
Beamsmoor Care at Home have a central training room with disabled facilities in Ulverston where Cumbria Carers in both Social Services and Independant employment can receive ongoing training in care.
Here at BCAH we care for the carer so that they care for you.
