Beamsmoor Care at Home - Kendal Branch

The main office for Home Care in South Lakeland for Beamsmoor Care at Home is at 123 Highgate, Kendal, Cumbria, LA9 4EN and provides an excellent domiciliary care for Kendal and the surrounding South Lakeland and Cumbria areas as well as looking after some North Lancashire care needs.

 We are fully accredited by Cumbria Social Services and are on the Preferred Providers List.

The Kendal office is managed by the Registered Manager Diane Whitelock who has manages a team of experienced dedicated managers and office staff.

Ruth Shepherd is the Service User Manager and she is responsible for visiting all service users at the initial enquiry stage, this is then followed up by a contract of care which has been agreed with you.

Rebecca Etherington has responsibility for the development of social care support workers through vigorous recruitment, training, supervision. Ongoing support is  managed in conjunction with Diane who is in charge of our training department to ensure a fully competent and confident workforce.

Our social care support workers are ready to provide quality care in line with current legislation and good practice guidelines and values. We also work closely with all the multi disciplinary teams throughout the area to provide Best Value services, to ensure the best outcomes for all service users.

 To make sure you receive the most appropriate social care support worker for your assessed needs, we have a dedicated team of experienced co-ordinators and administrators whose main aim is to plan and co-ordinate your rotas. Planning these rotas takes time, skill and patience in order to deliver a quality service that takes into account your assessed needs and travelling between service users homes in the most efficient way.

In addition to the above, we also have several Team Leaders who work both in the office and to specific geographic areas in the community. They provide an excellent link between supporting you and the social care support workers in your own home and supporting the office staff to provide a seamless knowledge base, this ensures we are able to provide a 24 hour support service to yourselves as well as our valued social care support workers in the community.
